Charity Day raises £1022 for The Donkey Haven Charity
Charity Day in aid of The Donkey Haven Charity Raises £1022 This year’s Charity Day took place on Saturday 8 August and was a fantastic day. The weather in keeping with our summer this year was fine and warm. We raised £1022 in aid of The Donkey Haven Charity, a locally based charity that provides a retirement environment for donkeys. Holsworthy 57 Yelverton 55 It was good to welcome Yelverton back, after a good few years, for a friendly. The weather was temperamental and cold although the rain mostly held off with just steady mizzle at times. The match could not have been much closer, after three rinks had finished the score was tied at 55 each.
